Here is a super nice 1965 Chevrolet Impala Super
Sport Convertible #16667 with a lot of options the car had belonged to a
Dr. In Indianapolis In. for the last 10 year. This car is Equipped with
Power Steering, Power Brakes, Factory A/C, Power Windows, Factory AM/FM
Radio, The car has Factory gauges with Factory tachometer, Clock Console
with Factory 4- speed shifter, power convertible top, car appears to have
the correct 409 Engine 400 HP. numbers show it to be a correct 400 HP. 409
engine, with solid mechanical lifters but the suffix code is gone on the
front pad probably been decked, I was told the Engine had been overhauled 8
years ago the block casting #3857656 / (193) Julian Date calendar July 11,
1964, Build Date the car has stock exhaust manifolds, Stock 400HP. Heads
#3852583 400HP. HiPerf, Date code (307) Nov. 2 1964, Intake manifold 400
HP. #3814678 The Transmission is a M-20 Muncie 4-Speed case # 3851325
Extension Housing #3857584 Tag # 3856436 Date code (109) April 9, 1964,
The Rear end #3852980N 12 Bolt. I also I might mention I am not sure on
all these date codes this is what I was told using the Julian date code,
so with that being said you see the numbers that are on the car that I have
taken from the car for your information.
Everything
but the clock works on this car has I am setting here typing this out,
the car runs & drives Great I just took the car to another building
I have for storage & the heater & defroster was hot & the fan
blow on all speeds, All the lights work even the reverse light all the
power windows work they are a little slow & seem to be getting faster
with using them the car has been setting a lot it was driven some in the
summer they said with the top down the power top works great
also.
This car is a very nice rust-free California
& Washington state car before it come to Indiana!
